About the Role
This position sits at the heart of manufacturing operations, calling for a skilled and result-oriented engineer who can manage production activities end-to-end. Quess Corp is looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in piping, coil manufacturing, or structural fabrication — someone who understands both the technical and operational sides of a production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
The role comes with a well-rounded set of responsibilities that go beyond just overseeing machines. Key duties include:
- Managing day-to-day production and shop-floor activities
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
- Planning and optimizing manpower, machinery, and resources
- Ensuring strict quality and safety compliance
- Coordinating closely with QA/QC, Design, Projects, Planning, and Stores teams
- Using SAP for production booking and material tracking
- Preparing MIS, KPI, and productivity reports
- Driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
This isn’t a role for someone looking to just clock in and out — it’s built for engineers who enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and leading from the front on the production floor.
